Why can't I get GForce ImpOscar to work in Cakewalk Sonar with the included Cakewalk VST adapter?

After installing the impOscar, you must run Cakewalk's VST adapter, and click on properties on the impOscar, and make sure Enable as DX plug-in is checkmarked.
