Q:
How can I audition the entire length of my samples without having to hold down a MIDI key (or onscreen key) for the duration of the playback in MachFive?
A:
In the MachFive window, click on any sample above the keyboard to show its waveform. Along the left of the waveform, there is a choice for "Loop Kind". Choose "One Shot" to get the desired effect -- the entire length of the note plays regardless of the note off message. Loop Kind must be changed per sample, and there is not currently a batch conversion for this parameter.
