When I run two mics in stereo into my Marantz CDR300 portable CD Recorder, it comes out mono on the CD. What can I do?

You likely have the L/R and L+R switch set to L+R, a mono microphone configuration mode. Switch this to L/R (stereo configuration) and the left input will be recorded on the left side, and right on right.
