Q:
When I try to record to Pro Tools 6.x in Mac OS, I get the message, “You do not have the necessarry access priveledges (-5000).”
A:
Use the Disk Utility (Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility). Select the system drive, and in the First Aid section, click "Verify Disk Permissions," then "Repair Disk Permissions."
