I got my Roland VS2480 and I've added VS8F3 cards to it's existing VS8F2...

I got my Roland VS2480 and I've added VS8F3 cards to it's existing VS8F2 card, but I can't authorize my 3rd party plugins.

There must be a VS8F3 card in slot 1 to authorize the the plugins. That card can be moved later, but if you ever need to reload the plugins that same card must be back in slot 1.

(Roland recommends making a mark on that card so you know which card the plugins were authorized on.)
