Q:
MIDI I/O does not show up / appear in Audio MIDI Setup (AMS). The MIDI I/O is not recognized by Pro Tools / the computer.
A:
Run the MIDI I/O Firmware Updater application, which can be found inside Macintosh Hard Drive/Applications/Digidesign/ProTools/MIDI I/O. If you do not find a MIDI I/O folder there, install it from your Pro Tools installer CD.
