As an example, you could save preset 1 for external mic, preset 2 for internal mic, and preset 3 for line input, so you wouldn't have to edit the configuration each time you want to use a different input.

1. Press Menu to go into the preset menu
2. Select the preset you want to modify and press Enter
3. Choose Mic (external), Line, or Int (internal microphones), press Enter
4. Press Enter again
5. Press Menu to save your selection
6. Repeat steps 1-5 to edit other presets
