My power adapter will not power on the microkontrol / Kontrol49. Also, the device shows up as MK version up Mode when I plug it into the USB port.

This is a very rare occourance but is caused by a ribbon cable to the main control board being loose or disconnected.

By taking the keyboard apart, this can be easily fixed but is not recommended as it may void the warranty.
