That means the Firepod isn't syncing or connecting to the computer correctly.

First try a different FW cable.

Try reinstalling the drivers. The driver install will ask you to plug the Firepod in at one point. If the computer doesn't recognize the Firepod at that point it may be a bad FW port on the unit.
