Q:
What MIDI controllers can I use to automate the MOTU Symphonic Instrument?
A:
You can use the following MIDI controllers to automate these MOTU Symphonic Instrument items:
* 07 : Part volume * 10 : Part pan * 11 : Relative part volume (Expression) However, you can also "learn" a MIDI controller for almost any control in MSI. To bring up the MIDI Control window control-click on an item such as the attack parameter for the amplitude envelope. To specify which MIDI CC will be mapped to this control you can send the CC from your MIDI controller keyboard or click & drag the number on screen. Check with your MSI documentation for more details on MIDI Control.
