Q:
Cannot load firmware. MIDI I/O is not seen in AMS or Pro Tools 6.x.
A:
1) Before installing the MIDI I/O setup or trying to load firmware all MIDI devices and cable connections must be disconnected from the MIDI I/O. Pull out the USB cable press and hold the reset button reconnect the USB cable and depress the reset button after the ONLINE light is lit.
2) After running the MIDI I/O Setup application and updating the firmware, connect your MIDI devices and configure your MIDI I/O in the AMS setup.
