Q:
When I change sample rate on my audio interface and launch Cubase LE, it displays the message, "Sample rate could not be set. This may be due to the sample clock being set to external sync."
A:
This message is somewhat confusing. It should say, "Cubase has detected a sample rate change in your audio hardware and will change its sample rate to match."
In other words, after you've verified that the sample rate of your audio interface is correct, you can safely ignore this message.* * If you are sending digital (SPDIF, optical, etc) into your audio interface, be sure to make sure your clock source is correct as well.

My Diamond bundle is fully installed and authorized, but I am missing two plugins: Doppler and Ultra Pitch. Where can I find them? What exactly is this BLUE Snowball? Is The Snowball a dynamic microphone like the Blue Ball, or a condenser like the Blue 8Ball or Kiwi? I've heard that condenser microphones require something called phantom power. Do I need to concern myself with this? Does The Snowball need batteries? Do I need any special software to use The Snowball? Do I need any drivers? |
