Macintosh Setup Procedure for the BLUE Snowball

The Snowball requires Mac OSX *
1. Open Apple menu -> SYSTEM PREFERENCES. 2. Double-click SOUND preference file. 3. Click INPUT tab. 4. Double-click BLUE USB BALL MIC under CHOOSE A DEVICE FOR SOUND INPUT dialog box. 5. Set input volume to the appropriate level. 6. Exit SYSTEM PREFERENCES. * Recommended Mac OS versions for best USB compatibility: Jaguar - version 10.2.6 or 10.2.8 Panther - version 10.3.4 through 10.3.9 Tiger - version 10.4.2 (Of course it is normally best to have the latest version of any major Mac OS version. Check with your recording software for suggested Mac OS versions as well).
