My new M-Audio Keystation Series Keyboard was working fine in Windows XP but after I turned it off and on again I could no longer get it to work.
 
A:
If you have been using your keyboard with MIDI software in XP and then switched it off, it is necessary to re-start your computer BEFORE switching your keyboard on again.

This applies to the following products:
- Keystation 49e
- Keystation 61es
- Keystation 88es
- Keystation Pro 88
- O2

This does NOT apply to the following products:
- Keystation 49 (no "e"), Keystation 61 (no "es"), Radium 49, Radium 61, Oxygen8, Ozone, Ozonic.
