How can I add marker points to the timeline in Digital Performer 4?

While playing or recording in DP4, hold the Command key and press the letter M.

A marker will be placed in the timeline. You can also insert a marker this way when DP is not playing or recording. The marker will be inserted at where the green timeline "wiper" is located.
