Q:
I have a Digital signal sent to the S/PDIF input and the MX-200 shows the “Digital In” light. Why don’t I hear any signal?
A:
The MX-200 will only allow for either Analog OR Digital input at one time, not both. The “Digital In” LED will indicate the presence of a digital input signal and proper lock to sample rates of either 44.1kHz or 48kHz only. For the digital input to be active, you will need to set the utility mode under the “In” (input select) page to either “An” for analog or “dI” for digital. Note that the factory default is “dI” (digital input) when S/PDIF is present.
