Q:
I cant update the OS on my Remote
A:
n for Mac (snoize.com) and MIDIOX for PC (midiox.com) are both free to download from the web and will reliably send data to the X Station. The latest OS is available in sysex format from the 'downloads' section.
Before sending the OS file to the X Station via USB make sure it is ready to receive the OS file by doing the following: - enter the global menu by pressing the 'global button'. - press page up until the screen displays 'New O/S from USB Press Write...' - press 'write' so that the screen displays 'WAITING NEW O/S' If you a are updating via a MIDI interface: - hold down 'Phantom', 'Input', and 'Stereo' buttons and turn on the X Station - the screen will display 'New O/S from MIDI Press Write...' - press 'write' so that the screen displays 'WAITING NEW O/S'
