Q:
Back and forth -9129, -9093, -9094 and/or -6086 errors in Pro Tools cannot be fixed. Nothing in the knowledgebase has worked.
 
A:
Try this:
1. Go to Start > Run, type in: msconfig
2. Select "Diagnostic Startup" then "Apply" then "Close," and select the option to restart your computer.
3. Windows will boot, and the desktop may appear black. This is nromal. When Windows finishes loading, start Pro Tools as normal.
4. a) If Pro Tools works fine, go to #5.
b) If Pro Tools does NOT work fine, it is a deeper issue. Call Tech Support.
5. Close Pro Tools, and run msconfig again.
6. Select "Normal Startup" then "Apply" then "Close." Select the option to restart your computer.
7. After your computer reboots, select "Selective Startup." Go to the "Startup" Tab, and select "Disable All." Check the box next to "MMERefresh," so that it is the ONLY box that is checked.
8. Go to the "Startup" tab, and select "Hide all Microsoft Services," then "Disable All." Check the box next to "MMERefresh," so that it is the ONLY box that is checked.
9. Click "Apply" then "Close," and select the option to restart your computer. Upon restart, launch Pro Tools.
10. a) If Pro Tools is still causing trouble, call Tech Support.
b) If everything is normal, you are good to go! Enjoy Pro Tools!
