There are a couple of things that you should know about the meters on the UX2. First, since the GearBox software can assign the hardware meters on the UX2 to display what’s happening at various points in the signal flow (input, output, and various send and monitor combinations) AND it remembers those settings from one session to another, make sure that you have them set appropriately if you’ve changed things. For example, if you have them set to display Send 3-4 and you muted that send in your last session, the meters might seem as if they’re not working. They are, but they’re just doing what you told them to do the last time you used the program. Second, if you select a mono input (Instrument, for example), the signal will be reflected on both meters (makes sense, but it’s not always completely obvious).
