Q:
I got the Pro XP upgrade for my EW Symphonic Orchestra, but I'm getting errors that it cannot locate the file. Why?
A:
Make sure that the large .nks files from the original AND the Pro XP versions are in the same folder. Do not put either library in a subfolder; they need to be side by side in the same folder.
If they are in the same folder, and certain instruments still do not show up, look and the name of the file it is looking for. The files will be in one of two formats: • EWQLSO_(color)_lib_part(#).nks • EWQLSO_PRO_XP_(color)_(#).nks In either case, look for the number (#) given in the error message. Recopy that file into the library from the appropriate DVD. NOTE: The color will be either Silver or Gold. This article does NOT apply to the Platinum Edition.

The words that my choirs are singing aren’t starting from the beginning of the sentence I typed into the WB. MIDI data is being received and sent by WordBuilder. Kompakt is even receiving MIDI data from WordBuilder, but I am still not hearing the choir. All of the programs are sending and receiving MIDI correctly, but I still am not hearing anything. When I play a chord on the keyboard, I want the singers to all sing the same word, but some sing the right word, while others sing the the next word. Is there any way I can tell WordBuilder to treat those voices as a chord? Protools 7 , I dont have any help files after installing the Protools 7 upgrade that I downloaded |
