Q:
How can I control the Black Box’s tempo from an external device without losing sync?
A:
When trying to sync the drum machine and effects of the Black Box to external MIDI Beat Clock. Sometimes, over time the tempo of the Black Box falls behind the incoming MIDI Beat Clock.
This problem may occur if you are using the Windows class driver. To insure proper MIDI Beat Clock synchronization, simply download and install the latest Black Box driver from the driver search page at the M-Audio website. www.midiman.com
