Q:
Why does the volume knob on Input 1 on my Roland KC series amp also control things plugged into Inputs 2 and 3?
 
A:
Input 1 on that series of amplifiers has an XLR and two 1/4in. inputs. Unfortunately those 1/4in plugs line up with the control knobs for Inputs 2 and 3 and are often mistaken for those inputs.
