Q:
I've accidentally recorded in Digital Performer with my external clock set incorrectly and now my audio plays at the wrong speed. How can I fix this?
A:
Create a new Project at the incorrect sample rate.
Turn off Automatic Conversion in the Soundbites Mini Menu or Preferences. Import the audio files that don't play correctly into this new project and place them on audio tracks. Select the audio from the Tracks or Sequence window and choose Merge Soundbites from the Audio Menu. This will create new files whose file type and sample rate match the incorrect sample rate. Now Import these back into your original project and if it didn't happen automatically, convert their sample rate to the working sample rate for this project.
