I'm using samplitude Pro and after some minutes of flawless playback I get audio dropouts!
A:
Windows often expands its own file cache too much while working with the continuous data stream required for audio applications.
This can be avoided by an entry in your system.ini similar to the following: [vcache] maxfilecache=32768 Since version 6.01 this is suggested and optionally done automatically by Samplitude.
