Q:
Why can't I hear the EXs-2 Grand Piano on my Oasys?
A:
By default, the Oasys is set up to load HD-1 and EXs-1 sounds when the system boots, but not the EXs-2. This is due to a RAM allocation issue. The HD-1 uses 303 MB of RAM, the EXs-1 uses 313 MB, and the EXs-2 uses 503 MB. By default, the Oasys includes 1 GB of RAM; loading all three banks simultaneously exceeds the amount of installed RAM. Unless oyu expand to 2 GB of RAM, you will only be able to load the Grand Piano or the EXs-1 sounds on boot.
