Q:
I'm using Cubase 4 and my recorded MIDI tracks eventually get out of sync with my audio, why?
A:
This is due to the MIDI information in Cubase not syncronizing with the operating system. It can easily be fixed by doing the following:
1. In Cubase, go to Devices > Device Setup> MIDI Port Setup. 2. In the MIDI Port Window, check the box next to "Use System Timestamp for 'Windows MIDI' Inputs." 3. Hit Apply and close out this window.
