Q:
"Content not found, please run the SetContentLocation application" error in Strike.
A:
This error indicates that Strike cannot find the data files that contain the drum 'sounds'. This could occur if the the data files are moved after installation.
Try one of the following: Run the Set Strike Content Location app* (it needs to be in the same folder as the data files, e.g. "Strike data1.big"). This app is also included/installed with Strike. Reinstall Strike. Mac users can try Repairing Disk Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility, or deleting the following files from Mac HD > Library > Receipts if the first attempt at reinstalling fails: - Strike Content 1 Setup.pkg - Strike Content 2 Setup.pkg - Strike Setup.pkg *Set Content location app can be found at www.digidesign.com
