Q:
Export MIDI Function in Strike plays different instrument patterns than the ones originally played.
A:
When you export Midi from Strike, it creates MIDI tracks, and those MIDI track names contain the channel you need to assign them to. They normally start with channel 3 (MIDI Channels 1 and 2 are reserved for stereo outputs of Strike). So if, for example, an imported MIDI track is named "StrkKikC3" you should set that MIDI track's output to Strike1-3 (channel 3).

Strike installer places a folder with a red minus sign in Plug-ins folder - Strike doesn't show up in Pro Tools LE. After installing the Strike plug-in, a "strike.tmp" file is left at the root level of the Mac's hard drive. Using Strike in Pro Tools sessions at 192KHz may cause audio dropouts. When I start a pattern in Strike, it just keeps playing. How do I stop it? Can't install Strike Plug-In. The progress bar gets stuck part way into installation. |
