When I start my Sony Media program, I receive a RunDLL error message showing: Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\Sonic or C:\PROGRA~1\Sony.
A:
1) Go to Start-->Run and type REGEDIT, click OK
2) Browse to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem 3) Change the value of: NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation to 0 4) The problem will be corrected the next time you reinstall the program If you are still receiving the error after following the above instructions, then reinstall the latest version of DirectX available from Microsoft's site.
