Q:
I’m having problems updating the impOSCar in Logic - it seems to fail validation. Why?
A:
Occasionally, Logic users can run into problems when updating from an early impOSCar AU to a more recent one. If you encounter this, please do the following:
1) Go to Logic's AU manager and tick the box next to the impOSCar. Launch Logic and see if this now passes the AU Validation. If it doesn't do the following: 2) Make sure you have the latest version from your account on the GForce Software web site. 3) Manually delete the existing impOSCar.component from the following location: HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components 4) Restart your Mac 5) Install the downloaded version 6) Restart your Mac 7) Launch Logic
