I updated from independence 1.0/1.1 to Independence 1.5. Now I can not...

I updated from independence 1.0/1.1 to Independence 1.5. Now I can not load any instruments.

Independence 1.5 is a huge major update. For this reason Independence 1.5 requires a new "Independence Basic Path" folder. This one gets created during the installation automatically. After the installation is finished you have to copy/move the sound content folders (or aliasses/shortcuts) from your former version to the new Independence Basic Path.
