If you don't want a two second gap between the tracks, you will need to adjust the default time between CD tracks to zero seconds. To do so:

1. Open Sound Forge.

2. Go into the Options menu and select Preferences.

3. Click on the Editing tab and change the "Default time between CD tracks (seconds)" to 0:00 and click Apply and OK.

4. After doing so, when you export regions from Sound Forge into CD Architect, there will be no gap between tracks.

Also note that among the many details that make up the Red Book standard, two important details are (a) each second of audio is broken up into 75 frames and (b) you cannot have track or index points that fall in between frames. You might adjust the default time between CD tracks to zero seconds and still see a small gap in between tracks. This would indicate that the end of your track fell in between two frames. CD Architect will correct this by forcing the following track to start at the next frame.
