I loaded a Waves plugin but don't see any activity on my APA.
A:
First make sure that you are attempting to use a qualified plugin. Please see article 31535 for a list of APA-compatible plugins. Also, make sure that the plugin you are loading has a "Net" suffix on it. For example, "LinEQ" will not work on the APA, but "LinEQ Net" will.
