Creating folders in the R-09 is a handy way to keep your recordings organized. To create a new folder:

• Press and release the [FINDER/MENU] button until "Finder" appears in the upper left of the display.

• Press the [PLAY/PAUSE] (cursor up) button to select "Root."

• Press the [REC] button.

• Press the [STOP] (cursor down) button to select "Make Folder."

• Press [REC] twice--"New Folder" will appear in the display.

• When finished, press and release [FINDER/MENU] to return to the main menu.
