Is the headphone 2 output independent of the headphone 1 output?
A:
The headphone 1 output is always tied to the physical outputs 1 and 2. However, the headphone 2 output can be changed to tie to any output pair (1+2, 3+4, 5+6, or 7+8). For IO 14 users, this routing is still available, even though the unit itself only has two physical outputs.
Select the headphone 2 routing in the HDM software application.
