Q:
I get a delay when recording in Project 5.
A:
This type of delay is called latency. You can read more about latency in article number 30645.
In Project 5, go to Options > Audio. If you are using ASIO drivers, then you can press the "ASIO" button on the right-hand side to pull up your audio device's control panel. If you are using WDM or Direct Sound drivers, the you will need to use the Mixing Latency slider to adjust Project 5's latency. Remember that less latency always means more CPU load.

The functions in the process menu in Sound Forge 9 only play the end of my file. Pro Tools keeps crashing now since I've installed the Waves Tune plug-in, why? I'm getting a message that says "could not allocate DFD memory, not enough memory available, Audio engine will be stopped" while using Kontakt2 in Cubase4. What should I do? How do you change the language of the menus in Cubase? How can I move a file back to it's original location in ProTools? |
