Q:
Why are there Transport controls built in?
A:
The Transport controls are assignable like any of the other buttons on the ReMOTE SL; these ones just have Transport labels because these are the most common controls across all applications. As a result, if a Template for a particular sequencer is selected, you’ll have visible hardware controls to play/stop/forward etc. and won’t have to remember what areas of the Transport have been assigned to various controls. If Transport controls are not required, on the other hand, there are 6 further buttons available for every Template to assign to other software/hardware parameters.
