Q:
How do I install my Platinum Orchestra Bundle?
A:
The Platinum Orchestral Bundle contains four seperate plugins (Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion). Each plugin must be installed and registered seperately. There are two sets of discs enclosed for each section, those labeled Platinum Pro XP and those labeled Platinum Edition. The "XP" serial number on the wallet containing your disc sets authorizes the entire bundle. To install the software, please follow the steps below:
1. Insert the disc labeled Platinum Pro XP Strings Disc One into your computer 2. Run the Pro XP installer located in the root directory of the disc 3. Follow the on-screen instructions 4. When the installer has finished, locate the folder entitled EWQLSO Platinum Pro XP Strings Library 5. Copy all the files that end with .nks from all seven Platinum Pro XP Strings discs into the EWQLSO Platinum Pro XP Strings Library folder 6. Insert Platinum Edition Strings Disc One and copy the .nks files into the EWQLSO Platinum Pro XP Strings Library folder. DO NOT RUN THE INSTALLER FILE 7. Copy all the .nks files from the remaining six Platinum Edition Strings discs 8. To register the product, run the registration tool. Detailed instructions can be found on page 164 of your user manual 9. Go to www.soundsonline.com for the latest updates and the DFD extension download 10. Repeat steps 1-9 for each of the remaining three sections (Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion). Each plugin will have its own library folder and its .nks files should be copied into the correspnding library folder.
