Q:
How do I use the MOTU Midi Timepiece AV to convert MTC to LTC?
A:
1. Hard reset the MOTU MTPAV.
2. Connect the MTPAV to your computer and open the ClockWorks software. 3. Connect Port 1 (Left) to MTC (Right) per the Routings page (see Manual). 4. Set clock to MTC on the MTPAV. 5. Connect the MTC source device to MIDI Input 1 on the MTPAV. 6. When MTC is detected, you should see a solid RED light on MIDI Input 1 indicator on the MTPAV. 7. A solid lock light (GREEN) should appear indicating MTC is being properly acknowledged by the MTPAV. 8. A Tach light (RED) should flash indicating SMPTE is being generated by the MTPAV.
