Q:
How should I set the mic gain on the Symetrix 528E Voice Processor?
A:
1) Set all processing sections to BYPASS mode.
2) Set the OUTPUT LEVEL control to "0 db." 3) Adjust the MIC GAIN to give you 0 db peaks on the OUTPUT LEVEL meter. The CLIP LED should not flash during normal use. The best gain setting will ultimately depend on the source material/vocalist and the type of mic being used.
