Currently Logic and Logic Express do not have native support for AlphaTrack. Frontier Design has provided Apple with units and documentation. We are hopeful that they will support AlphaTrack in a future version.
In the meantime, many of AlphaTrack’s basic features can be used productively with Logic, as described below.

1. After installing AlphaTrack on your computer, click on the AlphaTrack icon and select "ProTools (HUI)" from the drop-down (or pop-up) menu.

2. In LogicPro, go to Preferences/Control Surfaces/Setup, and select "New. Install"

3. Select "HUI" from the list of Control Surfaces (on the right side of the Setup window).

4. Click the "Add" button (near the top left of the Setup window). The right side of the window should show a new HUI icon at the bottom of the diagram (the icon is a picture of a Mackie HUI).

5. Click on that HUI icon to highlight it, and then set both the "Out
Port" and "Input" to AlphaTrack (near the top left of the window).
