Q:
BFD2's kit pieces will not route to individual tracks in Digital Performer. Why can't I record BFD2's drums on separate tracks in DP?
A:
At the time of this writing, FXpansion has discovered a problem with the routing between BFD2 and Digital Performer when trying to route kit-pieces to individual audio or aux tracks in DP.
BFD2's mixer gives you the ability to choose an output for each kit-piece. The user can choose whether to send all of BFD's drums via a single stereo output, or route them individually via mono outputs to be recorded on separate tracks. FXpansion is currently working on an update for BFD2 that will resolve the routing issue. If you are a BFD2 and Digital Performer user, be sure to check fxpansion.com for BFD2 news and updates.
