If the unit powers up frozen, with a light under factory default, we will need to try a power up to system test.

Unplug the unit
Press and hold down Delay and Boost.
Reconnect the IEC.

This should lead to a function that tests all leds and knobs, switches etc, as you cycle through.

Hopefully this will break the freeze. If it does, it is advised to attempt the next procedure.

There is a clear system function under Menu-Utilities. This is fairly straight ahead as you just press the upper right-hand menu button and choose utilities, then clear the system.
