Q:
What is JetPLL?
A:
JetPLL™ is a patented solution for audio band jitter attentuation created by TC Electronics. It is part of a new DICE chip created by TC and can be found within several different audio interfaces by Presonus,TC Elctronic, and others. It works on the basis of filtering out clock jitter and resending the improved clock signal back thru the device.
Some of the highlights of JetPLL are: •Hybrid design incorporates noise shaping to virtually remove audio band jitter. •Ensures highest converter performance possible, resulting in better separation. •Fast Locking to any digital format, through a wide range of frequencies. •Extremely robust, and tolerant of wide variations in clock frequencies. •Ensures near perfect clock performance when networking audio devices. •Dual VCXO loop performance and quality. •Filters jitter by approx. 100dB to -122dB.
