When launching Pro Tools 7.4.2, I get a dialog about running a pre-release version and Pro Tools will not launch.
A:
This is a known issue with the initial web release of Pro Tools HD, LE, and M-Powered 7.4.2 for Leopard.
The Pro Tools 7.4.2 installers posted to the website from June 19 to June 23, 2008 inadvertantly contained the warning from the Pre-Release version of Pro Tools 7.4.2pr, and this warning will be displayed when launching Pro Tools 7.4.2 on or after July 18, 2008. Download the 7.4.2 Patch [Here]
