How do I adjust the speed (tempo) of a recorded phrase (loop) with a RC-20XL

1. Turn the PHRASE SELECT knob to choose a recorded phrase.

2. Step on the left pedal to play the phrase.

3. Perform the desired tempo by tapping on the TAP TEMPO button. This changes the phrase's playback speed while keeping its pitch constant.
Note: There are limitations to how much the tempo of a phrase can be successfully adjusted. It's also not possible to set the tempo for phrases that are less than 1.5 seconds long.

4. If you'd like to keep the new tempo of your phrase, follow the steps in "Saving a Phrase" above.
