Q:
Not able to get Dual Trigger Response from the Snare when using a Roland Mesh Pad with a TD-6 or TD-6V
A:
If you're unable to get dual trigger response from your snare mesh pad, it would be most likely due to an improper "Trigger Type" setting in the TD-6/V. To set the trigger type for the snare pad, use the following steps:
Note: First confirm that an appropriate dual trigger cable is being used for the pad, and it's connected correctly to the TD-6/V. 1. Hold SHIFT and press EDIT/SETUP. 2. Press the right CURSOR to select "TRIG BASIC." 3. Press ENTER. 4. Hit the Snare Pad. Note: If "NOTE CHASE" is set to "Off" in the TD-6, hitting each pad will not change the trigger input number in the display. You can select a trigger input without hitting a pad by holding SHIFT and pressing the Left(<) or Right(>) CURSOR buttons. 5. Press the INC (+) or DEC (-) buttons to select the appropriate Trigger Type: For a PD-80R, PD-85, or PDX-8 choose "PD-80R". For a PD-120, choose "PD-120". PD-105 or PD-125 choose "PD-125". 6. Press EXIT when you're finished. The settings are stored automatically. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
