Q:
How do I uninstall Automap Universal from my Mac?
A: Before uninstalling Automap Universal it is imprtant to UNWRAP ALL PLUG-INS before doing so. To 'unwrap' your plug-ins, open 'Automap Plug-in Manager' and simply drag any 'wrapped' plug-ins (the plug-ins that appear in the right-hand window) out of the plug-in manager. Then quit all hosts and close Automap Server. If you don't do this you will need to: -delete all "... (Automap).vst" copies -delete all "... (Automap.dpm" copies -rename all "....dpma" to ".dpm" Delete AutomapServer.app from Applications Delete AUAutomapClient.component from: user/library/audio/plug-ins/components Delete shortcut to AutomapServerEngine.bundle from: /ApplicationSupport/Propellerhead/ReWire If you have Cubase installed, do a "show package contents" by right clicking (or CTRL - click) on 'Cubase.app' and find the "components" folder and delete CubaseAutomapClient.bundle That will just leave the package receipts in /Library but they are (mostly) harmless.
