Q:
The MoogerFooger Analog Delay and Ring Modulator won't authorize when I launch ProTools.
A:
Depending on the authorization method, the authorizations for the Macintosh v.8.x MoogerFooger AD and RM plugins aren't working correctly. Follow the instructions below to install the v7.4.2 versions of those plugins.
Go to MacintoshHD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign and move the Plugins folder to your desktop. Download and install the Factory/Producer Bundle v7.4.2 Digidesign's website at: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?langid=100&navid=54&itemid=24497 You'll find a new plugins folder at that same location. Move the MoogerFooger AD and RM plugins from this new Plugins folder into the folder that was moved to the desktop. If you get a message asking to replace the existing files, choose replace. Then move the newly created Plugins folder to the trash and move the Plugins folder from the desktop back into its original location at MacintoshHD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign Digidesign should have a more elegant solution sometime after the first of the year.
