Q:
Why does BPM ask me to unblock network connections?
A:
When loading or instantiating BPM for the first time in some Windows applications, you may receive a message saying, "Windows firewall has blocked this program from accepting connections from the internet or a network," with options to either "Unblock" or "Keep blocking". To facilitate communication between BPM and instances of BPMSampler, it is necessary to choose "Unblock". BPM does not collect user data or "phone home" in any way.
